World Peace

You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us. And the world will live as one.” -- John Lennon
Dad, how do soldiers killing each other solve the world's problems?”  Bill WattersonCalvin and Hobbes: Sunday Pages 1985-1995
Due to World Peace Day several days ago, 21st September 2013, please mind my ideas

According to Wikipedia, World peace is an ideal freedom, peace, and happiness among and within all people and/or people. You can imagine being in peace by living with no harms and threat, free to talk and do things in your minds.
It’s ironic how every time we talk about this world peace issue, the word war comes in your mind.
Since the end of the Second World War in 1945 there have been over 250 major wars in which over 23 million people have been killed, tens of millions made homeless, and countless millions injured.
So many have died, so many losses, still why people keep repeating those wars?
When will people learn from the past? Though, there aren't any benefits, those heartless people make other people suffered just to satisfy their horrible need.
We need to do something. I used to be those kids who just sit there and watch as the world suffered, as the other kids my age lift their weapons in the battle field. I started to look up on the internet, and I felt embarrassed. This whole time we sit and watch, thinking we’re just kid while kids our age dying in the battle field, having their worst traumatic moments seeing their beloved dying.
We may have no power to lift our weapons, but we have the advantage of information technology on our side. Write on your blog, tweet on your twitter, make a video blog on your YouTube channel, do whatever it takes to promote this peace, tell your vision of world peace and tell the world what’s really happening.

World peace will be achieved when your heart is willing to promote it, to make other people feel the peace you have right now.
